COVID-19 Vaccine

Mitcham General Practice is an approved COVID-19 vaccine site.

We are stocked with both the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccinations and administration of this vaccine is bulk billed.

Appointments can now be made via the online booking system HOTDOCs.

The COVID-19 vaccine is being rolled out in phases across South Australia to ensure priority groups can access the vaccine.

Currently, the AstraZeneca vaccine is available to all people over the age of 18 who want one if they provide informed consent.

The AstraZeneca vaccine is not currently recommended for pregnant or breast feeding women or children under 18 years of age.

The guidelines for the Pfizer vaccine in general practice is currently available to patients aged 12 years and over.
